![]() Kind of like lottery, a store really doesn't make much with that either unless they sell a big winner (which they have no way of doing intentionally.) Most of the money from the sales goes to the companies that make them and the taxes to the government. ![]() ![]() In a convenient store, they hope you will come in and buy something more. A store selling them really mostly sells them for the convenience of their customers, at least in a supermarket. They actually aren't really losing out on much money by stopping the sale of cigarettes at a certain hour because stores do not really make much money off of the sales. I don't see why they wouldn't sell them after a certain time unless they don't have enough people on staff to sell them.
